Rise & Thrive

Rise & Thrive is a new, five-week programme designed specifically for female founders, creatives and changemakers who are struggling to develop a financially sustainable business model. Whilst they may have been running their business for a couple of years, they are still struggling to generate a regular income, and are often lacking clarity, feeling stuck.

Delivered online over the course of five weeks, in weekly, two-hour workshops, the overall aim of the programme is to equip participants with the knowledge, skills and mindset they need to build a resilient, small business.

During this practical and action-oriented programme, participants will have the opportunity to develop their understanding of value propositions, business models, pricing, marketing and sales.

By the end of the programme, participants will be able to:

  • Define their core offer and value proposition;
  • Price their work effectively;
  • Stand out from their competition;
  • Create an actionable marketing plan;
  • Complete a one-page business plan.

In addition to the taught element of the programme, participants will be invited to join a private, online community where they can access guidance and peer support, whilst working on any tasks set in between the modules

This course has been designed by Clare Griffiths and Felice Ayling, whose collective experience of supporting female founders and small businesses spans over two decades.

Clare Griffiths is an award-winning entrepreneurship educator, business support practitioner and social entrepreneur who has over 20 years’ experience offering business support to startups and growing businesses from a range of industries in London and the South East. In 2018, Clare founded Thrive - an impact-led business on a mission to boost the number of female-led small businesses in the UK.

Felice Ayling is a marketer with over 20 years’ experience working with household brands. In 2022, Felice left her corporate career to start her own business, Loud Women, bringing together all of her experience to support female founders to stand out clearly with their message and show up confidently in their content.

This programme has been made possible thanks to the generous support of Another Way Women’s Foundation (AWWF).

Launching in October 2024, Clare and Felice are inviting 15 female founders to join their Rise & Thrive programme. This course is free, thanks to the funding from AWWF.
