Thrive Without Borders
Our first international meetup took place in June 2022.
In June 2022, Thrive launched a new, international online meetup called Thrive Without Borders, in partnership with Natasja Wehman, Founder of Les Gens Heureux, based in Dieppe, France, and made possible thanks to the generous support of Enjoolata Foundation and Graham Precey, CEO and Founder of Groupe Développement Normandie.
The aim of the event was for British and French female founders to be inspired, learn from each other’s experiences and network.
Our first meetup had a positive impact on attendees.
At our first meetup in June 2022, 38 British and French female entrepreneurs came together to listen to two inspiring speakers and network with each other in small groups!
- 100% of respondents said that the event inspired them as a female entrepreneur.
- 80% said that they had generated new ideas to develop their business beyond their home country.
- 80% of respondents said that they had developed new connections with other female founders in the UK and France.
